More Investment Thanks to Renewable Energy
2026-08-28 14:19

Access to green energy and sufficient connection capacity is becoming an increasingly important factor in investment decisions. To better support the development of new projects, Energa Operator and the Polish Investment and Trade Agency (PAIH) have signed a cooperation agreement aimed at facilitating investment processes and improving access to renewable energy for businesses.

The partnership is designed to strengthen cooperation in attracting and supporting investments in the areas covered by Energa Operator’s distribution network. A key element of the agreement is to provide potential investors with information on electricity infrastructure and connection possibilities at an early stage of the investment process.

The availability of energy, particularly from renewable sources, is becoming increasingly important for companies looking to develop modern production facilities and other energy-intensive projects. Access to green electricity can support both the implementation of corporate sustainability strategies and efforts to reduce the carbon footprint of business operations.

Under the agreement, PAIH and Energa Operator will cooperate in providing investors with information and support related to electricity infrastructure and the energy needs of planned projects. The partnership is expected to help identify suitable locations and improve coordination between investors and the energy sector.

The cooperation also aims to increase the attractiveness of the regions covered by Energa Operator’s network for new investments. By combining PAIH’s experience in supporting domestic and foreign investors with Energa Operator’s expertise in electricity distribution infrastructure, the partners hope to create better conditions for the development of modern and sustainable businesses.

The agreement reflects the growing importance of energy security and access to renewable energy in attracting investment. For companies considering new projects, reliable electricity supply and the possibility of using low-emission energy are becoming as important as transport infrastructure, workforce availability, and access to markets.
