Poland and Ukraine Strengthen Cooperation in the Logistic
2026-11-04 10:29

Maintaining supply chain stability, improving logistics and warehousing cooperation, addressing customs requirements and supporting investment were the main topics of a business breakfast held in Warsaw on 20 October 2026.

The event was organised by the Polish Investment and Trade Agency’s (PAIH) Foreign Trade Office in Lviv, in cooperation with the Ministry of Development and Technology and the International Association of Polish Entrepreneurs in Ukraine. The Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Kyiv supported the initiative as a partner.

The meeting, entitled “Polish-Ukrainian Cooperation in the Logistics Sector: Supply Chain Continuity, Warehousing and Business Partnership Opportunities”, focused on practical issues faced by companies operating in both markets. It was held in a hybrid format, with simultaneous interpretation between Polish and Ukrainian.

Logistics Challenges and Supply Chain Stability

Participants first discussed customs regulations affecting cross-border logistics. This provided a starting point for examining the current situation in Ukraine’s logistics and warehousing sector, the needs of Ukrainian businesses and ways to maintain uninterrupted deliveries despite the ongoing war.

Representatives of Polish and Ukrainian companies exchanged views on the challenges and opportunities associated with logistics and storage services. Their discussions covered business requirements, the organisation of logistics operations and potential areas for cooperation. Polish companies also had an opportunity to gain a better understanding of the expectations of their Ukrainian counterparts and identify possible fields for joint activity.

Investment and Business Support

Another part of the meeting focused on assistance available for investment projects in Poland's logistics sector. Representatives of national institutions and regional authorities presented their perspectives, with particular attention to the Podkarpackie and Lubelskie regions.

Participants also explored support mechanisms for logistics businesses and investment projects undertaken by Polish companies in Ukraine. These included available financing solutions and insurance instruments designed to help businesses manage investment risks.

The event concluded with networking sessions and B2B meetings, giving participants the opportunity to establish new contacts, exchange experiences and discuss specific business needs and potential partnerships.
