The Chinese delegation from the Jiangsu province, headed by the Director of the Economic Department, Mr Zhu Min visits Poland from February 27th to March 4th.
The delegation comprises of representatives of the biggest companies active in the energy sector: Suntech Power Co. Ltd., Wiscom System Co. Ltd., Etern Company Ltd., Zongyi Co. Ltd., Suning Appliance Co. Ltd.
The companies seek opportunities to construct production facilities and establish new business contacts in Poland.
On Monday, February 28th, the delegation met with the Undersecretary of State in the Ministry of Economy, Rafał Baniak and took part in an investment seminar organised at the Polish Information and Foreign Investment Agency (PAIiIZ) and chaired by the PAIiIZ President, Sławomir Majman.
The seminar was attended by representatives of Polish city councils, special economic zones, banks and energy companies. After the seminar, Polish and Chinese participants had the chance to hold direct business talks.
In order to get to know investment opportunities in the country, during the second part of the visit the delegation will visit Łódź and Kraków.

Representatives of Poland took part in the international PDAC Convention trade fair in Toronto, one of the world’s most important events for the mining and natural resources sector.
