Lublin municipality talks with one of Chinese car companies in the matter of new car factory. It would be placed on previous Daewoo Motor Poland factory. Information electrifies whole local car market.
- We have received Chinese company delegation interested in investment - Katarzyna Mieczkowska-Czerniak, Lublin’s president spokesperson admits. It concerns production of thousands of cars. Speaker does no want to reveal company’s name.
It is possible that Chinese consider other sites in Europe too. It is known that Chinese examined possibility of buying Daewoo Motor Polska assembly rooms from the receiver in bankruptcy. This place is becoming a center of car industry investment in Poland. In DZT assembly rooms Honker off-road vehicle are produced in other place- Pol-Mot Warfama, licensed by Chinese Hebei Zhongxing Automobile pickup Grand Tigers are assembled.

The Polish Investment and Trade Agency (PAIH) closed 2025 with an impressive record of achievements in the area of direct investment support. The Agency successfully finalized 64 investment projects with a total declared value exceeding EUR 4 billion, generating more than 6,600 declared jobs.

The Bill is to transpose Directive (EU) 2022/2041 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 19 October 2022 on adequate minimum wages in the European Union into Polish law.
The Bill:
- lays down the rules and procedure for setting and updating the minimum wage,
- appoints the Social Dialogue Council as a consultative body competent in matters related to setting and updating the minimum wage,
- regulates the reporting of the minimum wage,
- lays down the rules and procedure for setting and paying the minimum hourly rate.
