After year of running trial shop in Warsaw, Muji’s representative announces the expansion to other polish cities.
- Commercial results are better and better from month to month, what means that the market has positively accepted the brand. - Tomasz Czerwinski, Muji’s representative says. - We are going to launch three new shops in next five years. We consider Cracow, Poznan, Wroclaw or Trojmiato - he adds.
- Japanese chain sells simple goods, both in design and look. Under the brand we can find stationery, clothing, domestic products and furniture. The word “Muji” translated to English means “good product without a name”.
Muji has already 500 sites around the globe - most of them, over 340 in Japan. In Europe so far Muji has opened 54 shops, in Asia 84 and 4 in States. In Europe the largest ready markets are Great Britain and France, but most dynamic are the German and Spanish ones, where 4 shops have been open recently.
In Poland, Japanese company runs also an online shop. Despite the fact that there are many Japanese style lovers, there are not too much to massively open new shops like Swedish IKEA does.
Representatives of Poland took part in the international PDAC Convention trade fair in Toronto, one of the world’s most important events for the mining and natural resources sector.
